Quality ingredients are an integral part of TUF because we believe it translates directly to your experience.  We have “a thing” for seasonal flavors which is clearly reflected in the timing of our menu.  The Urban Farmhouse is committed to evolve in such a way that aligns with our values- values that include locally sourced ingredients and vendors (where feasible), an eco-friendly mindset, and a partnership with youth for greater community impact.  While we understand that it will take quite some time before we are operating in the fullest potential of these values, we are grateful for the windy road that will lead us there.

Our love of food, connection, and community is what brought us here…and we hope it’s what encourages you to stay.

Thanks for inviting us to the table.

The Story of The Urban Farmhouse

The Urban Farmhouse was established October 1, 2021.  While the name doesn’t scream cheesecake, it speaks to the story.  The story of a woman who grew up among farmers, and baking grandmothers, yet always cherished the experiences and opportunities of the city.  The Urban Farmhouse (TUF) was created to bring people together, to share in the richness of all things homemade, as well as honor communities and flavors that have been integral to this journey.  From Grandma’s Pennsylvania Dutch recipes to Southern inspiration and beyond, the flavor combinations are tried, tested, and fine-tuned to create something unique from something very familiar.
